Frequently Asked Questions

Which devices are supported?

DualCam ShotRecorder requires an iPhone with MultiCam support (iPhone XS or later with dual/triple camera system). You can check compatibility in the app's Settings under "MultiCam Support".

What video formats are available?

The app supports MOV and MP4 formats. MOV is recommended for professional editing in Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve. MP4 is better for direct sharing on social media platforms.

What resolutions and frame rates can I record in?

You can record in 4K (3840×2160) or 1080p (1920×1080) at 24, 30, or 60 fps. The available options depend on your device's capabilities.

Where are my videos saved?

Both portrait and landscape videos are automatically saved to your device's photo library (Camera Roll) after recording.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Your VIP subscription is managed through Apple. To manage or cancel: go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → DualCam ShotRecorder. You can also visit Manage Subscriptions.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open the app's Settings and your subscription will be automatically restored via your Apple ID. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

The app says my device doesn't support MultiCam. What can I do?

MultiCam recording requires specific hardware capabilities. Unfortunately, older devices or models with a single camera cannot use this feature. Please check Apple's official list of MultiCam-supported devices.

Does the app collect my data?

No. DualCam ShotRecorder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All videos are processed and stored locally on your device. Read our full Privacy Policy.
